Super excellent location!!! English-Russian speaking reception! I will recommend this hotel in view of location.
very poor breakfast! I've never seen before chargeable boiled eggs at 4*hotel. Chargeable Internet. The floors are "sounded".
A very nice and clean hotel directly at the Carl's Bridge. The staff was helpfull and friendly, the breakfast was also good. A perfect place for a Prague city trip.
I can't think of anything.
The hotel was overbooked, but we were sent to an even better hotel.
I don´t know about The Bishops house but the other one was very good.
Located less than a block away from the Charles bridge the Bishop's House was easy to get to and from all the main sites in Prague without being overcrowded and 'touristy'.
This is a very comfortable and cosy place to stay at. Absolutely perfectly located - 2 minutes walk from Karl's Bridge. At the same time very quiet and calm, perfectly clean with very nice design and all you need to rest. The staff is nice and helpful, the breakfasts were good, fresh and tasty. I think this is a perfect deal. The stay is very very pleasant and you can reach any place of interest easily! Liked it very much!!
Location and nothing else!
This has been my 8th visit to Prague in 4 years and I have been in various 4 star hotels there so I can say a word or two. Definitely not the place it is advertised to be and we are very much disappointed, also considering the very high price we paid for two double rooms. You can get much better hotels in Prague at almost half the price! Both of the two rooms and bathrooms were quite small. The staff is almost hopeless, some of them can't say a single word in English and apparently can’t even smile. It was very hot when we were there as the rooms are not air- conditioned. If you open the windows for some fresh air during the night, it’s difficult to sleep because of noise. The worst problem was that the place must have some sort of bugs because we ended up scratching ourselves most of the time we were at the hotel and two of us had to take allergy medication. The room TVs are a farce - portable small screen type with only 2 channels in English – bbc and rt. The wooden floor of the room I was in squeaks, so you end up waking up whoever is sharing your room if you need to go to the toilet during the night. Shower cubicle leaks water to the bathroom floor and you can easily hear when your next door occupants are having a shower. The water is probably treated with some sort of chemicals because it even looks opaque rather than transparent! Breakfast is somewhat poor compared to other true 4 star hotels. I definitely don’t recommend the place, and would rate it 2 star at the very best! I won’t set foot in there again.
Despite the location of the Hotel being so close to the Charles Bridge, it was very quiet.
The staff was very efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location; within walking distance of many tourist attractions and shopping centres.
the first of all - very good location , clean , nice , quiete hotel...
The best in a hotel is a place exactly in a center of Prague. Several people speak russian and are frendly. Some people in reception are not frendly.
I had a problem with the documents confirming my payment! I didn't received the cash register cheque. I have a problem with my financial department!
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. After staying at the Bishop Hotel we had to leave to meet up with our river cruise people at the new Hilton in Prague. The Bishop Hotel was so much more rewarding. I will tell everyone about this hotel.
Charming place, very close to Charles Bridge
Very nice and clean. Near Charles Bridge, quiet place. Good value.
Great location, next to Charles Bridge, 2 minutes to tram stop, 5 minutes to underground, 10 minutes to Old Town Square, everything is easily reachable! The rooms are clean and comfortable, but not in summer (no air conditioning). The hotel is overrated, it's a 3 stars, not a 4 stars. Considering this, it's a very good 3 star hotel.
Some members of the staff are not kind as one would expect from them. No useful advices are given to tourists (only banal information which can be found in any guide)
Great location right by the Charles Bridge and in walking distance to the Prague Castle.
